We just announced that Shuttlers had raised an additional $4 million in equity funding, and I'd like to share what this means for us as Shuttlers and all our stakeholders, including our partners, customers, and investors, as well as for the future of our company.

First, I am super excited about the opportunities that this unfolds for our customers, from route expansion to the strength of the technology infrastructure, and the reliability of the service.  Currently, thousands of daily commuters are about to move around in the city along 300 routes, now imagine being able to find us in 3000 routes within and outside the city! In addition to the funding We have also partnered with a leading asset management business to access additional hundreds of buses, which will further enable us to deliver on our promise to provide a world-class transportation experience

We know that transportation is not just a means of getting from one place to another, it is a way of life. It shapes our daily routines, our social interactions, and our overall well-being. That is why we are committed to providing a transportation system that is safe, reliable, and convenient for you.

The Shuttlers Team at the 2023 Team Retreat

I am incredibly proud of what our team has accomplished over the last 6 years. When we started this company, our goal was to create a safer & sustainable way for just myself, friends, and family to use; this mission grew into a gigantic mission to create an infrastructure/system that could support mass transit anywhere in the world, especially in Africa.

To achieve this, we had to build from scratch a comprehensive infrastructure that could handle the demands of a modern transportation system. This involved developing advanced routing algorithms, aggregating & vetting a fleet of buses, and creating a client portal, a partner dashboard, and a mobile app that could handle booking, tracking, and payment.

It has been a long and challenging journey, but today I can say that we have succeeded in building a transportation network that is truly world-class and the first of its kind in this region. We have completed over 5 million trips on over 300 routes across two cities in Nigeria, and we have helped people share rides in a safer manner, save time, and money, and reduce their carbon footprint.

Speaking of carbon footprint, we are proud to have saved an estimated 4 million pounds of CO2 emissions through our efforts to promote public transportation. This is a significant achievement and just the start of what we will be able to achieve in our contribution to a reduction of carbon emission in Nigeria

As an asset-light company, we partner with superheroes to deliver to our customers this Shuttle experience; To our bus partners, whom I deeply appreciate for standing with us through unpredictable times, with this investment we will be able to unlock more value for you and elevate you and your drivers' lifestyles through our revenue assurance model.

For our corporates, as we have always done, we will continue to transform the way businesses think about transportation. By providing shared mobility solutions that are cost-effective, convenient, and sustainable, Shuttlers is helping businesses streamline their operations, improve employee productivity and experience, and reduce their environmental impact.
